Using food chemistry and a handful of imagination, we take apart traditional middle eastern foods and rebuild it, molecular gastronomy style! We'll start with the Machane Yehuda market for a shopping and tasting tour. Then we'll head back to the lab to create our unique Israeli science dessert experience ... and then eat it!
Includes: Making deconstructed Kanafe & קפה הפוך coffee foam. Tasting tour of Machane Yehuda market available for additional $5 per person.

In this workshop the participants will get the chance to create their very own DIY Israeli style tote bag which will (literally) light up their night! We will learn about the hot new field of wearables using sewable electric circuit boards, conductive fabrics, special LEDs, and more!
Includes: Each participant creates a customized tote bag with Jerusalem skyline, led lights and electric circuits.

It's a storytelling experience mixed with a crazy science demo by the one and only Dr. Mom, co-founder of StellarNova. She holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Technion, worked at the Weizmann Institute of Science and Technology and has been teaching science for over a decade.
Includes: A talk and live science demo on the subjects of STEM, fun science, and entrepreneurship with Dr. Mom.
